Reporting to the District Director, NSPHA is seeking two motivated and enthusiastic summer students to join our team in the Northern District. One of the successful candidates will work alongside our team to gain hands-on experience in Painting and the other in Grounds work.
Primary Accountabilities
- Paint walls using brushes, rollers, or spray guns, ensuring even coverage and neat edges.
- Clean up the work area, organize paint supplies, and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Participate in inspecting completed painting projects for quality and making touch-ups or corrections as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist in mowing lawns, trimming edges, and maintaining the overall appearance of the grassy areas.
- Assist in collecting and disposing of trash, leaves, and other debris from outdoor areas, keeping them clean and tidy.
- Learn how to operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and power tools, under supervision.
