About the Position

Wavemakers is a groundbreaking virtual reality career-building program that gives Canadian post-secondary students opportunities to thrive in the workplace of the future. Wavemakers is supported by the Government of Canada through the Innovative Work-Integrated Learning Program to strengthen students' core future-proof capabilities and connect talent directly with leading employers across Canada.

All students are eligible for a $2000 Scholarship!

Learn how to:

• Network with like-minded students all across the country. 
• Participate in the Metaverse! 
• Learn future-proof capabilities that will prepare them for the future-of-work. 
• Meet and learn from industry leading partners and mentors.
• Earn micro-credentials. 
• Build their network through virtual career fair opportunities.

Our next two cohort dates are as follows:

• November 1 - December 4: 4 weeks - Monday/Wednesdays (6pm - 8pm ET)
• November 8 - December 11: 4 weeks - Monday/Wednesdays (4pm - 6pm ET)

Qualifications

Open only to: Post-Secondary Students who are Canadian citizens, PR, Protected persons.  Not open to International Students at this time.
