The Job
Truck Helpers for this organization are responsible for the routine collection of residential and commercial waste as well as recycling material in a given geographic territory by side-load or rear-load trucks and delivery of this material to disposal sites. This position will include physical exertion such as repetitive lifting, pushing and pulling receptacles that weigh anywhere from 50lbs to 75lbs as part of your daily routine. You’ll be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions so having appropriate outdoor work wear is a definite must!

They have the largest fleet of industrial collection vehicles with 60% of that being dedicated to recycling!
Requirements
All employees must be prepared with proper PPE such as CSA approved steel toed work boots and reflective vest. Having proper outdoor work wear is important as you’ll be working in all weather conditions. Additionally, this role is physically demanding (depending on the route) and requires someone capable of physically strenuous work through the length of the shift.
