Early Childhood Educator

About the Position

Grace Note is looking for a Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our team! 

The position is in our Junior Toddler Classroom (18-24 months) where we have 16 children and 3 educators.

Responsibilities:

• Providing quality care to young children
• Providing quality learning experiences to young children
• Following a play-based, emergent curriculum
• General cleaning & sanitizing
• Maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming classroom
• Assisting children with eating, toileting, and self-help
• Distributing snacks & meals
• Responding sensitively to the needs of the children
• Communicating with children, co-teachers, and families effectively
• Documenting child development and progress
• Administering basic First Aid as needed
• Implementing Positive Behaviour Guidance
• Being inclusive, kind, and compassionate

Qualifications

• Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Childhood Classification 
• Valid First Aid & CPR (C) Training/Certification 
• Clear Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check
• Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
