Engineering Technology Students at FPS are responsible for assisting Application Engineers developing high pressure water/steam gauges and electronic level measuring equipment. Students will assist in customer requirement validation, product selection and gathering the necessary field information such as measurements and operating parameters.
This information is then used to develop mechanical shop drawings and work orders. Students will be responsible for managing drawings and overseeing product manufacturing. Students can be expected to check engineering drawings, test and inspect equipment, test new products, and/or provide engineering analysis and reporting.
