Parkwood Home Care is Hiring Caregivers!

Primary focus of a Caregiver within Parkwood Home Care is to contribute positively to the client's quality of life by promoting their independence, dignity, social, emotional, and physical well-being. Supporting their mobility, personal appearance, comfort, and safety are also important aspects of caregiving. Caregivers assist the client with activities of daily living! Depending on a client's needs, a caregiver may assist with performing personal care tasks, light housekeeping, assisting with meal preparation, and companionship.

Qualifications

We are looking for:

• A genuine, kind, compassionate, and caring nature required for this position,
• Reliable, punctual, and committed.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and fluent English is essential as many of our clients are hard of hearing or visually impaired.
• Able to transport ones self to client locations (by bus and/or car).
• Willingness to learn.
