Health Association Nova Scotia is partnering with the Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care to support with the recruitment of CCAs and other healthcare workers across Nova Scotia, with immediate openings available across the province.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with various personal care activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Assist clients with meals and between meal refreshments.
• Provide respite for families and care givers.
• Documentation (e.g., reporting client concerns, progress notes, incident reports). Engage residents/families in leisure/recreational programs.

Qualifications

Core Requirements:

• Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification
• Persons with related education and/or work experience and are enrolled in or are eligible to be enrolled in CCA RPL Program
• Students in nursing, CCA programs, and international educated nurses will be considered.
