Service Adviser (Tires and Automotive)

About the Position

Our team is growing! Shay Tire Limited is looking to add another full-time Service Adviser. As the front-line customer relations and service representative, you are responsible for driving sales and advising customers on products and services, while maintaining professional standards and image.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Warmly greet every guest
• Answer incoming calls and schedule service appointments
• Create accurate quotes for products and services
• Input billing and inventory information into the computer system in a timely manner
• Source and order parts needed to fulfill customer requirements
• Transact sales, collect payment, and print receipts/invoices
• Assist with office management

Qualifications

Requirements and Skills:

• Able to work full-time hours including some Saturdays
• Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Automotive knowledge required
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Highly organized, high time-management skills
• Able to work in a team environment, as well as able to work independently
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to start, control, and maintain a complete process or procedure, while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront
• Must have superior customer service skills
• Strong skills with computers required
