Apply for residence
Because we accept students into residence as they apply, the sooner you submit your application, the better your chances of getting a room on campus.
Residence admissions process
NSCC uses a 'first applied, first considered' approach to residence admission. You don't need to be accepted into an academic program to apply, but priority is given to students who've confirmed their acceptance offers.
- March 29 – Residence applications open (online)
You need your NSCC student number (W#) to submit your residence application (you receive a W# when you apply for an NSCC program). - June 1 – First round of residence offers delivered
If you've been accepted into residence, you’ll receive details on your space (i.e., type of room) via email.- Your residence deposit and signed residence agreement are due three weeks after your offer is delivered to you.
From June 1 on, we'll offer residence rooms as space is available.
Additional Request for Consideration
