Technical Support Requests

NSCC now has a single point of entry for all technical support requests. Regardless of where you are in NSCC or who the request is for, all technical support requests can now be made through the Technology Service Desk.

The NSCC Technology Service Desk is available to NSCC staff and students who have an NSCC email account and have access to the web at home or at an NSCC location. The NSCC Technology Service Desk can be used for any of the following requests:

  • Passwords
  • Email
  • Computer problems
  • Printers/Printing
  • Video conferencing
  • Sharepoint
  • PeopleSoft
  • Network or Server issues
  • Computer Security

After-Hours Support

NSCC Information Technology Services operates business hours Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm and is not staffed when the college is closed. An after-hours monitoring service is in place for essential systems.

What is covered after-hours?

The after-hours duty technician monitors for indications or reports of system issues including:

  • Email / Outlook Web Access
  • SharePoint / OurNSCC / NSCC Website
  • PeopleSoft / MyNSCC / Employee Self-Service
  • Campus Networks and College Systems

The intent is to ensure the overall working availability of college-wide essential systems during after-hours. Only urgent issues prioritized by IT Services will be immediately addressed. All other requests will be queued.
