This is your chance to explore NSCC. Tour our classrooms, labs, libraries and other spaces. Experience our programs first-hand and meet the students, alumni, faculty and staff that make us who we are. Learn more about Open House

What to expect

9 am to 7 pm

  • Take a tour of the campus
  • See our video game emulator running off a Raspberry PI, peek into the inner workings of a desktop computer, delve into the world of animation or try your hand at virtual reality with the Oculus rift
  • Learn how you can combine college and university
  • Find out more about our Adult Learning Program (ALP) and Academic and Career Connections (ACC) – two programs that focus on working towards graduating with a high school diploma and upgrading or acquiring academic prerequisite courses for admission into post-secondary programs
  • Attend an info session – speak with staff and faculty to learn more about our programs

9 am to 3 pm

  • High school student visits – attend program sessions and drop by the Learning Market to find out more about residence life, the Sport and Wellness Centre and campus library

3:30 to 7 pm

  • The public is welcome to attend program exhibits at McCarthy Hall (Library)
