About Make Way
We are Nova Scotia's College
NSCC students dare to dream big and they deserve the support they need to attain their goals.
Imagine if every Nova Scotian with the determination to invent their own future could be guided, inspired and celebrated through access to a life-changing educational experience.
That's what Make Way is all about. It supports NSCC students at 13 campuses and three learning centres, in every corner of the province.
NSCC graduates have been building Nova Scotia’s economy and communities for decades – they are the researchers, innovators, builders, fixers, caretakers and entrepreneurs who are the backbone of this resilient province.
Community and Economic Impact
By improving access to education, Make Way will allow NSCC and its graduates to make an even greater impact. This will help address two major trends emerging in Nova Scotia
- a labour shortage caused by an aging population
- a skills shortage caused by a changing economy
Now more than ever, the success of our graduates makes a huge difference in improving the economy and elevating quality of life in Nova Scotia.
Education has the power to transform lives. We're growing the economy of Nova Scotia, producing highly skilled workers and building communities – right here at home.Download Full NSCC Make Way Case for Support (PDF 1.75MB)
