Prepare to learn online

Taking a program or course online has lots of advantages, but the experience is different than learning in-class. Students have access to a full range of supports and services to prepare online.

There are also a few things you can do to make sure you’re ready to study online.

Ensure you have the technology you need

You need access to high-speed internet and a computer that meets your program’s technology requirements.

Assess your computer skills

Am I familiar enough with my computer and the internet to access my course materials and resources? Do I know how to save and store my course work so I am able to find things when I need them? Am I comfortable enough with email to communicate with my instructor?
