You learn in a team environment, with the newest technologies, to prepare you for work as a Geomatics Engineering Technologist.
Surveying is the science of measuring the physical world around us to determine the shape and position of objects or features. Surveying skills are applied to a wide variety of activities – from exploration for natural resources such as oil and natural gas to determining the boundaries between parcels of land to controlling the layout of buildings and highways. This program delivers practical measurement skills and techniques, as well as the theory behind them.
This program is located at NSCC's Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS). COGS is the Lawrencetown site of Annapolis Valley Campus.
