If you self-identify as being Black and/or are from the African Canadian community, you have the option to earn your high school diploma from an Africentric perspective at the Akerley Campus.
In your first year of the program, you discuss topics such as culture, ancestry, traditions and world view. Learn about the knowledge and accomplishments of people of African ancestry and how they've influenced the world. Develop your confidence and potential by gaining exposure to African Canadian educators and mentors.
In your second year, transition into the ALP program to complete the additional credits you need to earn your high school diploma.
