Course Overview

This course is specifically directed towards fishing vessel operators. The Fishing Master Class III Certificate of Competency holder may act as Master of a Fishing Vessel of any tonnage engaged on a Near Coastal or Sheltered Waters Voyage and as Officer in Charge of a Watch of a Fishing Vessel of any tonnage engaged on an Unlimited Voyage.

Condition: Candidate must be 18 years of age, have acquired 12 months sea time on a qualifying vessel and have a valid medical certificate. Must have the following “Training Certificates” MED-DVS, SEN-L, Marine Advanced First Aid, ROC-MC.
