Solar Photovoltaic Panel Installation (CNSV 1000)

This course is intended to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the installation of photovoltaic (PV) panels on a roof or ground level. Learners will be introduced to the concepts of solar electricity generation and operation of PV panels. Course material covers equipment components and installation practices of these systems. Safety will be stressed at all times.
Pre-requisite: SAFE 1000 (Introduction to WHMIS) or equivalent, SAFE 1001 (Introduction to NS OHandS Act) or equivalent and SAFE 1023 (Introduction to Lock-out Tag Out) or equivalent
