This course provides an introduction to advanced CAD techniques used in the field of mechanical manufacturing. It is intended to develop CAD skills in the preparation of engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor®, a powerful parametric, adaptive software that allows the designer to create almost any type of solid model. You will be making effective sketches, modeling parts from features and then generating 2D drawings from part files. Next you will create assembly files from part files and then model parts inside assembly files, then presenting your designs and creating assembly drawings.
Pre-requisite: CADD 1000, prior experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD based products, prior industry experience in mechanical manufacturing.
