Course Overview

This food handling certification course is for anyone who deals with food service as a front-line worker, including bus persons, servers, dishwashers and cooks. The course covers the causes and types of food borne illnesses and emphasizes practices designed to enhance food safety. The topics of safe food preparation and storage, as well as personal hygiene and sanitation are also covered.
