Welding Basic MIG
This course will introduce the safe setup and operation of MIG welding equipment. Students will have the opportunity to weld materials from 1/16" - 1/4" in thickness while learning the following outcomes: power sources for MIG Welding; functions of flow meters and regulators; proper electrode for specific applications; proper shielding gas flow rates; padding and fillet welds on carbon steel plate in flat position; full penetration groove weld in flat position.
