NSCC's response to COVID-19: view updates

As Nova Scotia’s first Technology Access Centre, SEATAC supports oceans-related companies by providing research and development services. Drawing on Nova Scotia Community College’s (NSCC) resources, SEATAC offers services that increase productivity and innovation of small- and medium-sized enterprises in the ocean sector. SEATAC’s team collaborates with NSCC and has access to the College’s well-equipped facilities.

With a market-driven approach to its role in the ocean innovation ecosystem, SEATAC provides efficient, responsive and customer-focused services to help clients fill the gap between proof-of-concept and the market. The Centre functions like a not-for-profit business. We offer a variety of expertise including prototyping, data analytics and communications, and advanced manufacturing to help companies develop new products and services.

SEATAC is co-located at the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) and the NSCC Ivany Campus. SEATAC enables innovators to seize opportunities in the rapidly growing global ocean economy and helps to position Canada’s ocean technology industry as a leader in sustainable ocean innovation.
