Changes to NSCC's COVID-19 requirements
Our response to COVID-19 is aligned with the provincial government’s easing of public health restrictions.
Safety continues to remain a priority. We’re committed to helping keep each other safe and will adapt our requirements as needed based on public health advice.
Masks
- Masks are strongly recommended but not mandatory.
- Masking is a requirement in some programs and students in affected programs are aware of this.
Symptoms or tested positive
To protect yourself and others, Public Health recommends that you self-isolate if you have COVID-19 symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19 (wear a mask if you can't self-isolate). We encourage any member of our community to stay home if they are feeling ill. You should alert your faculty so they are aware and can support you.
Vaccines
- To remain in step with the Province, we no longer require proof of vaccination or testing to enter campus. However, getting vaccinated and boosted is the best way to protect against COVID-19 infection.
Safe travel
- Whether you’re travelling internationally or domestically, be sure you review all government travel, testing and border requirements before your trip.
