Diversity, equity and inclusion
Listen, learn, and act with NSCC Alumni
Our NSCC values state that "we are intentional in our efforts to build diversity as a core strength. We recognize diversity of knowledge, worldview, and experience as an asset and a key driver of success in advancing innovation, creativity, and excellence."
We recognize to live this value we must continue to listen and learn from our alumni and the communities we serve. We stand in solidarity with alumni from our Black/African Nova Scotian and Indigenous/Mi’kmaw communities and will do our part to impact necessary change.
Hear from NSCC alumni who share their perspectives, experiences and stories on racism and change. Our contributors include Chris Murdoch, Lindell Smith, Mika Francis, Martina Kelades, and Colter Simmonds. Hear their voices.
We're inspired by the important work happening in our communities and by our alumni to bring awareness to systemic racism in our province, and beyond. Like many of you, we want to be a part of the necessary change. Learn how you can join us in making a difference.
