One $1,000 award is available to students enrolled at Marconi Campus in the Business Administration, Business Administration - Accounting Concentration, Business Administration - Management Concentration or Business Administration - Open Concentration programs.

About the Donor

The Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to empower businesses to thrive in the CBRM and beyond. We also recognize the importance of our future business leaders thriving while pursuing their education. This award recognizes an individual who is ambitious in pursuing a career in business, who understands the impact they can have on shaping and influencing our Island’s future and is determined to seek opportunity and cultivate positivity wherever they may be.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Full-time/Part-time Students
  • Student is enrolled in first or second year of studies
  • Enrolled in one of the following programs:
    +View Programs
    • Business Administration
    • Business Administration - Accounting Concentration
    • Business Administration - Management Concentration
    • Business Administration - Open Concentration

How We Choose

This award will be assessed based on the following:
  • Career aspirations;
  • Demonstration of leadership;
  • Community involvement; and
  • Reference.
