The Importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Listen, learn, and act with NSCC Alumni
This page includes NSCC Alumni voices, stories, highlights and resources that further the ideals of diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice at NSCC.
Our NSCC values state that "we are intentional in our efforts to build diversity as a core strength. We recognize diversity of knowledge, worldview and experience as an asset and a key driver of success in advancing innovation, creativity and excellence.".
We recognize to live this value we must continue to listen and learn from our alumni and the communities we serve. We stand in solidarity with alumni from our Black/African Nova Scotian and Indigenous/Mi’kmaw communities and will do our part to impact necessary change.
Below you will find more on our work in this space, college initiatives, and more.
