Tutoring
The goal of tutoring is to help students help themselves – to assist them in becoming independent learners. NSCC offers a number of opportunities to both students and tutors. This contributes to the success of our college.
Finding a Tutor
Having difficulty in a subject area? Need help with organization? Require material explained in alternate ways? Complete the Request for a Tutor Form and return to the tutor coordinator on your campus.
What can a tutor do for me?

Becoming a Tutor
To become a tutor you need to fill out a Tutor Application Form and complete 10 training modules. Once you have completed the training modules, print off a copy of the Tutor Test in Module 10 and return to the tutor coordinator on your campus. This must be completed before you begin to work with a student.
