Program Information Sessions

Program Information Sessions are a great way to explore a program, experience NSCC first-hand and help you decide if the program and campus are the right fit for you. You'll meet faculty and staff, have a chance to ask questions, and learn about available student services and resources to help you succeed at NSCC.

Scheduling Update

Most campuses have already completed their Fall sessions and will be scheduling new sessions starting in January 2012. If you're signing-up, don't worry...we'll add you to the list and follow-up with you by email in January to confirm your session date. If you're signing-up for a session at Kingstec Campus, Marconi Campus or Waterfront Campus, the winter sessions are already scheduled and you're able to select a date on the sign-up form.

Available Locations

Program Information Sessions are available at all Campuses. Depending on the campus, a program information session is a scheduled event with specific date options (see upcoming scheduled dates) or is scheduled individually once you sign-up for a session and let us know what campus and program you're interested in (we used to call this a "Test Drive").

About the Program Information Sessions

Depending on the campus, a program information session may be a scheduled event (Kingstec Campus, Marconi Campus and Waterfront Campus have scheduled events) or scheduled individually where you participate in classes for 1/2 day (we used to call this a "Test Drive").

Scheduled Event – The Information Session dates are scheduled for the year and you select the date that best fits your schedule. The session starts at a specific time and you should plan on being at the session approximately 2 hours.

Scheduled Individually – Information Sessions that are scheduled individually are dependent on you meeting and talking with current students and faculty, and are only available October-March, Monday through Friday (usually during the daytime). It may take us some time to coordinate your date options for an individual session. Don't worry…when you sign-up we have you confirmed on the request list and will follow-up with you by email as soon as we can with more details.
