H1N1 Flu Info

The H1N1 virus has largely run its course and according to the Department of Health Promotion and Protection in Nova Scotia, we have moved into the post-pandemic period. H1N1 activity has been low in Nova Scotia for some time with the last lab confirmed case in February 2010.

The H1N1 information is archived, and if the flu becomes a public health concern again, we will reactivate this section of our website. For more information on the current status of H1N1 in our province, please see the Nova Scotia Health Protection and Promotion website.
