This course provides you with the basics of safe boating knowledge, and a lifetime certification; your Operator’s Card is issued after successful completion of the test. Recreational boating regulations require all recreational motorized boat operators to obtain a Pleasure Craft Operator Card and you need proof of competency to operate a motorized boat. As of 2009, these regulations are in effect for all Recreational Motorized Boaters as well as Personal Watercrafts. This is a Transport Canada Accredited Boating Safety Course. Topics include:

  • Canada Shipping Act

  • Collision Regulations
  • Charts and Publications Regulations
  • Criminal Code of Canada
  • Responding to Emergencies
  • Trip Preparations
  • Canadian Buoyage System (Aids to Navigation)
