Course Overview
This course details and explains current network design practice and theory for hierarchical local area networks (LAN). The course scope covers small to medium enterprise (SME) to Enterprise networks. Industry standard design structures and sizing are followed as the learner progresses from small top enterprise network designs. The student will explore and apply the design goals: Performance, Cost, Security, Management, Expansion and Redundancy.
Prerequisite: NETW2010 or equivalent
