Course Overview

Horticultural Therapy is the use of plants and gardening activities as vehicles in professionally conducted programs in therapy and rehabilitation. This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concept of Horticultural Therapy and to visit the various applications that exist for it.

Prerequisite: High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent

Credit Course: Component of a Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma

Cost: $403

College Services Fee – Part-time students with a credit course load (online and in-class credit courses) equal to or greater than 1 unit, pay a $50 part-time College Services Fee.
