Application & Confirmation Fees

The application fee is $25. This non-refundable fee must accompany your application. There is no application fee for those seeking admission to the Adult Learning Program (ALP) or the African Canadian Transition Program. There is a $75 application fee for International applicants.

Confirmation Fee

Once you are admitted, you are required to pay a non-refundable confirmation fee within the timeframe indicated in the decision letter/email you receive from NSCC. This fee is applied toward your tuition, and confirms your intention to enrol in the program. If you fail to pay the confirmation fee within the required timeframe, you risk losing your seat in the program. The amount of your confirmation fee is specified in your decision letter/email. For most programs, the fee is $100. For international students, the confirmation fee is $250.

The confirmation fee is refunded only if the program is cancelled or the full cost of tuition is paid by a sponsoring agency. The fee is forfeited if you decide not to attend NSCC after you have confirmed, and cannot be held on your student account for future use.

Payment Options

Payment of application and confirmation fees can be made at:

  • Any NSCC Campus - We accept cash, debit, cheque, money order or credit card. We do not accept post-dated cheques. The charge for NSF cheques is $20.
  • NSCC Admissions: Payments can be made via telephone, fax or mail. To mail in your fee, please complete the appropriate section of the application or confirmation form. We accept cheque, money order or credit card payments. We do not accept post-dated cheques and please do not mail cash. The charge for NSF cheques is $20.
