NSCC, in partnership with the provincial government, is changing the face of the college - creating dynamic new learning spaces to support the growth of our students and communities.

Here's a look at some of the work that we've undertaken.

2011

  • Institute of Technology Campus - Phase 3 development

2010

  • Centre for the Built Environment - Classes begin

2007

  • Waterfront Campus opens September 2007
  • Annapolis Valley Campus completes electrical upgrades and unveils new lab for health and human services program and renovated library and lecture space for the COGS

2005

  • Pictou Campus gets a brand new, light filled learning space and seats to accommodate 300+ students
  • Lunenburg Campus creates new centre for student success, new learning space and seats to accommodate nearly 200+ students
  • Truro Campus creates new centre for student success, new learning space and seats to accommodate 100+ students
  • Marconi Campus creates new centre for student success, new learning space and more seats to accommodate 100+ students
  • Cumberland Campus creates a new library, learning commons and centre for student success
  • Phase 2 Development for the Waterfront Campus Announced - a new Centre for the Built Environment
  • Kingstec Campus unveils five new trades shops, new atrium space to house the library, learning commons and centre for student success and its signature Horticulture program

2004

  • Strait Area Campus opens new state-of-the art trades wing
  • Shelburne Campus enhances student success centre and students' cafeteria space
  • Akerley Campus unveils new culinary centre and welding lab
  • Burridge Campus creates new learning commons and seats to accommodate more students

2003

  • Province makes a landmark $123 million in the college development project
