Strategic Plan
Welcome to Our Future (2006)
During the late winter and spring of 2006, more than two thousand Nova Scotians contributed their ideas and energy to the creation of a new five year Strategic Plan for NSCC. We spoke to students, parents, staff and faculty, major employers, policymakers and many others. We asked them how we're doing so far, and what they expect of Nova Scotia's College in the future.
NSCC is already at the forefront of education innovation in Canada. Our last Strategic Plan helped us create a new college with increased capacity and new facilities. This Plan will use that foundation to deliver on our goal to be a national-calibre college. To sustain our leadership position in meeting the needs of learners, we must continue to evolve our learning, and the services we provide. The Mission and Values that have served us so well in the past remain current and will carry us into the future. This strategic plan defines a bold new Vision for NSCC as it enters its second decade as a Board-governed institution.
We have focussed this plan around three key strategies to achieve our Vision:
Learning, Capacity and Future.
