Hello. I am interested in taking the program ‘Office Administration – Software and Information Management ‘-part time. I have been out of university for almost 10 years now. I have been working in Administration/customer service roles for the past 8 years and want to move my career forward, hopefully into management. I am wondering two things. 1-what types of jobs are out there, in HRM , once completed this program? What types of salaries? 2-What type of background should one have before taking this program? I want to make sure this is the right program for me as I know you have lots of choices.

Hi, I am very interested to know how the current part-time/on-line LPN course is going? I am working very hard at getting all of the pre-requisites and upgrading for the necessary courses needed for this program and am really worried that the course won't be reoffered next year.

Hi Kristen - Continuing Care provides a great introduction to the health care field. NSCC has developed a special bridge program that provides credit for students who start Practical Nursing after completing our Continuing Care certificate. These credits may apply in year 1 and year 2 of the Practical Nursing Program. In addition, keep in mind that we have expanded our Practical Nursing program over the past year and now offer more seats than ever. We are also looking at offering a part-time/online option in the fall. I would recommend you make an appointment to visit your local campus and ask to speak to someone from our School of Health & Human Services. He/she can help you figure out the best option that is right for you. Thanks for your note and good luck.

Hey, my name is Kristen Carty and I have a question about Practical Nursing. Next year I plan on taking my Continuing Care Assistant course because the Nursing isn't offered in my desired location. I was wondering that once I have become a CCA and want to come back to take Practical Nursing in the following year, what if anything would I be exempt from (courses)..ect?
