First Nations Student Services

If you are a member of a First Nations community - including First Nations, Innu/Deny, and Metis - and are interested in attending NSCC, you should contact "College Admissions" for information on the programs offered and application deadlines. The Admissions Centre will also provide details about possible eligibility for designated seats for those who self-identify as members of these groups. If you are a member of the Mi'kmaq community, you may also want to contact First Nations Student Services whose role it is to work with campus faculty and staff to ensure that the College environment is inclusive and culturally relevant. First Nations Student Services can assist you with making arrangements with possible funding agencies, as well as help you with the College application process. If you are a current NSCC student, and you require assistance unique to the needs of your community, contact First Nations, Student Services.
