Develop your creative, technical and business skills to produce professional photographic images for commercial, corporate and advertising clients.

Program Overview

A photograph can capture the moment and record that moment for eternity. It can inform us about world events. It can entice us to buy cars or chocolate. It can capture a lifetime of experience in a single facial expression and pinpoint a specific time in history through fashion and style. Legendary photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, W.R. MacAskill, Eddie Adams and Richard Avedon made a difference in our lives with their images, sometimes stark, sometimes thought-provoking. In some cases they have changed the social thinking of the day. Their legacy is evident when we view the work of contemporary photographers such as James Nachtwey and his graphic documentation of social issues. Or of Jean-Baptiste Mondino who has pushed the boundaries of fashion photography to its limits.

In this two-year program, you’ll create, setup, compose, light and produce photographs to a professional standard. You’ll learn to shoot in a studio and on location, and manipulate and output images using professional imaging software.
