Program Overview

If you like to work with people, value healthy living and well-being and are interested in improving the quality of life for others then you should consider the Human Services program.

This program prepares you for a range of rewarding careers where you can make a real difference in the lives of the clients and colleagues you serve.

In this program you take a common 1st year and then choose a concentration for your 2nd year. If you have a university degree, you may be admitted with advanced standing to a second-year concentration. Advanced standing students may be required to take spring term courses prior to entering the second-year concentration.

  • Experience hands-on, practical learning where you apply your skills and knowledge to real projects and work experiences.
  • Learn from faculty members who have a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds with a number of years experience in their specific fields.
  • Small class sizes enable you to be very involved in your learning and make the most of your class time.
  • NSCC University Articulation & Transfer Agreements – This program provides advanced standing for graduates who want to continue their studies beyond 2 years to complete a university degree.

Other Info
