Studying Part-Time at NSCC
You have a variety of different options for studying part-time at NSCC including online courses, in the classroom during the day or at night, seminar and weekend sessions. While the College is working to expand the delivery options available to our learners, not every program can currently be taken on a part-time basis.

Library and Information Technology
Medical Laboratory Assistant
Office Administration Certificate
Plumbing Certificate – Akerley Campus/Online
Practical Nursing Diploma – Accepting Waitlist Applications (September 2010)
Application Information
If you are presently taking a credit course(s) and you intend to work towards achieving a NSCC Diploma or Certificate, you must apply to your program of interest. If accepted, you will be referred to one of our campuses to continue the discussion with the Campus Registrar about your learning plan and the schedule of courses available to you.
The advantages of being admitted to the program include:
- obtaining the program credential
- receiving advisement on course work and plan of study
- locking in the program requirements at time of acceptance
