Partnerships
NSCC is committed to building relationships with our industry partners and providing innovative and customized training solutions that meet the changing needs businesses have as they move forward into the new millennium.
To support the lifelong learning needs of individuals and business, we provide training through workshops, seminars, distance education, customized training, and continuing education programs. The full resources of the College are available for the development, presentation, and evaluation of customized and part-time training programs.
Although we are a cost recovery operation, our significance is not tied solely to the volume of economic development activity. The contribution of Partnerships and Innovation relates directly to our mission statement and is a fundamental part of our culture. We are taking the lead in increasing access, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Our vision is to foster long-term, sustainable partnerships with client organizations and local community groups. Partnerships and Innovation support the fundamental goals of the College as identified in the NSCC strategic plan. These goals include offering programs to meet the continual learning needs of individuals, working with business to provide appropriate customized training built around specific needs, forming partnerships that building effective linkages, and supporting local community development.
