January 8, 2010 2nd Tuition and Fees Payment due. All Fees for 2009-10 to be paid in full by this date for student to remain in class
January 20, 2010 Last Day to Withdraw from Courses without record of attendance & 95% fee refund (exclusive of non-refundable confirmation fee). After this date no refund of tuition and Student Association fees.
Month of February African Heritage Month
February 26, 2010 College Winter Convocation – location to be announced: a multi-campus ceremony to award credentials completed since October. Event held subject to numbers of graduates completing since October.

Spring Semester 2010 [Term 1105]

NSCC runs two Sessions in the Summer Semester: one, a five week session and the other, a fifteen week session that runs the duration of the summer semester. Both commence on the same day, but for other significant deadline dates different timelines apply.

Each semester runs 15 weeks, inclusive of 5 days of scheduled classes and/or assessment and evaluation during the final week.

Students enrolled in NSCC's Adult Learning Program leading to the Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma for Adults please note that entry to this Program is on a continuous intake basis, usually the first Monday of every month if seats are available. The length of the Program varies depending on the course load and the pace the student negotiates with the faculty. All statutory holiday dates and breaks such as those at Christmas and in March apply to all students. For further information on dates and how deadlines apply in ALP please consult with the Campus ALP Counsellor or the Campus Registrar.
