Magdalena Jung
Nova Scotia has been Magdalena Jung's summer home since she was 12 years old. "I love this province," says this German native. Her fondness for living in Nova Scotia, a desire to learn in a Canadian environment and the support of her parents brought her to NSCC to study Business. "My experience at NSCC was fantastic," she says.
A top student, Magdalena was chosen to go to Qatar with a team from NSCC to compete in an International Business Competition. "I learned so much about adapting to new environments, handling stress, and being professional," she says. The team did very well, placing third out of 15 teams.
With her diploma in hand, Magdalena will head next to Saint Mary's University where she'll get credit for her NSCC courses. "I am doing a double major in management and accounting so I'll be able to achieve my degree in half the time," she says.
