Growing up, I always worked with my hands. But I like helping other people and that's why I went into the Human Services program at NSCC. I had a great teacher in my first year. She told me I had all kinds of tools and I had a lot to offer to other people. No one had ever told me that before. Now, every day I get to help people with disabilities. If I can help put the smile on somebody's face, I will. It's what I went to school for and I love doing it.
