I love maps. Each one tells its own story, of a place, of a people, of a time. And I really wanted to learn how they were made – not just to read about it but actually do it. The COGS Program at NSCC introduced me to the science, the technology, the art and the business of cartography. It wasn't just something I had an interest in any more. When I graduated, I could confidently say, "I am a professional cartographer".
